Obituary of Nancy Louise Scott

Nancy (Kelley) Scott, age 81, of Penn Yan, NY passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 16 th , 2024.

Nancy was born in Penn Yan, NY on January 28 th , 1943, daughter of the late, Madalene (Dewitt) and Exton Kelley. She graduated from Penn Yan Academy Class of 1960. Nancy married Roger Scott on November 23 rd , 1960 at the Bluff Point Methodist Church. Nancy and Roger worked as grape farmers for 43 years and retired in 2002. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, computers and genealogy. She was a member of the Bluff Point United Methodist church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, as well as a 4-H Leader many years ago when her children were young.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Roger W. Scott; two daughters, Kelley (James) McLaughlin of Lima, NY and Terry (Gary) Parsons of Penn Yan; six grandchildren, Kerry McLaughlin, Toni Parsons, Scott McLaughlin, Kenneth (Elizabeth Denson) Parsons, Adell (Robert) Brasch, and Zachary (Sheyanne) Parsons; six great grandchildren; sister, Donna Andersen of Zephyrhills, FL and brother, David Kelley of Bluff Point, NY.

A private service will be held at the convenience of her family at a later date.
